Hi. Twice baked potato casserole sounds good. Do you have a recipe you'd be willing to share for that one? I might have to try the scallop recipe too. It sounds really good!

Thanks for the recipe for the casserole. Sounds delicious, but definitely not for someone watching what they eat.

Hey there...

I just thought I'd try your other blog today when commenting. (I've never been to this one)

I was wondering what diet plan you're using. 50 pounds that you've ALREADY LOST is AMAZING! (I'd LOVE to lose 50 myself, although 60 surely wouldn't hurt)

The EASIEST plan I've EVER followed is weight watchers. Have you tried it? You can eat basically anything you want, you just have to count it. (I mean, I'm a BIG eater! I like LOTS of food for my points) If you're interested I can tell you some of the foods I've found that have VERY LOW points values. (Yummy things like grilled cheese with ham (they're low fat, but VERY TASTY), 2 hamburgers from mcdonalds - ONLY TEN POINTS, chicken nuggets from mcdonalds - only a point PER NUGGET! Can you tell we're BIG McDonald's fans???

Anyway, if it's anything you're interested in I'll be glad to help you get started. (Although, you can do it all online for about $15 a month!) I like that MUCH BETTER because then NOBODY knows my weight but ME! HEHEHEHE

PS... in mentioning WeightWatchers, I forgot to mention that my hubby has lost 30 pounds recently and I'm down by about 13. Our problem?? We just don't stick to it. This program is SO EASY, you won't be hungry, and it WORKS!

Oh, and I have nothing to gain by telling you this. I'm NOT selling anyting. LOL! Just some hopefully "good advice" from one sister to another.

I just posted on Aimee's blog this same comment - I am pasting it here because I ditto to both of you!!!

Thank you for the stop by!!!

I think I may have found some encouragement! I NEED TO LOSE 60-80#. I have been making excuses for a year now and watching the scale steadily climb. I am not much of an eater, more of a sitter. I have fibromyalgia, rather, fibromyalgia has me. It is my crutch. And my weight is leaning heavily on it.

My husband signed us up for hypnotherapy - him for smoking, me for dieting.

I plan on coming back frequently - you are a pillar of encouragement!!!!!

Thanks for the quick response. I'm glad to hear you're in some sort of program. Well, it's what works best for me. (I don't do so well when I don't feel like I have some sort of plan) I'll look into what you're doing.. it sounds GREAT!

I SOOOOO NEED to EXERCISE! I think I'll try to start back walking tomorrow. I had a bout with planter something-or-other last year. (I don't remember the exact name) It caused my foot to hurt REALLY bad when I'd been on it for any length of time. It'd even gotten so bad that I was limping when I walked. It's MUCH better now.. I think I'll start out slow and see what happens.

Thanks for sharing what's working for you! =-)
